A 2013 SSBC Competition Guide has been developed by the National Rules Committee to supplement the official rules and provide an aid to participants of the SSBC. 2013 Regional Competition:
The 2013 ASCE Student Conference locations, host institutions, conference dates and contacts are provided on the ASCE website.

For Canadian Teams participating at the Regional Competition level, please contact the SSEF at info@ssef-ffca.ca and provide information about your team, bridge design and details of the ASCE Student Conference in which you will participate and the SSEF will supply contact information for local CISC Members for sponsorship and fabrication assistance.
2013 National Competition:
The National Competition was held at University of Washington, Seattle, Washington on May 31-June 1.

Qualified Canadian Student Steel Bridge teams will receive a $1250 sponsorship from the SSEF.
2013 Competition Results:
Congratulations to the SSBC team from University of California, Berkeley that placed first overall out of a total of 49 teams. Second and third place overall were earned by teams from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of California - Davis, respectively.
Three teams from Canadian institutions including Université Laval, Lakehead University, and University of British Columbia showed good effort at the nationals. Competition results for participating Canadian teams are provided below.
